Sun island Resort and Spa – Guide and Tips Part 2

Sports
The island had a great sports offer. What we do not claim took, because it was already too hot for us anyway, and then sports. No, no … There were tennis, indoor badminton, gym, billiards, darts, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, squash.

Trips
They had two free trips, and although the Sunset Fishing, which then caught the fish is cooked (food paid for, free drinks) and “Hello Neighbors”.
We did not do the two trips. On Hello Neighbours said that you can see the poverty of the locals. Who likes something, ok, but for us it was not so.

Specialty restaurants
Food and drinks at the specialty restaurants are chargeable and not included in the AI. We opted for the cheaper option and stayed with our free breakfast. Ago and the prices do not come cheap, what we have heard so.
As a special treat, there is a 20% discount for table reservations at the table waiter before 14.00 clock (same day).

Beach towels
The beach towels (per person a beach towel) one could get near the pool at any time and exchange. Read more…

Sun island Resort – Guide and Tips Part 1

In August 2011, I had company holiday and wanted to somehow not stay at home, now I decided to fly with my friend to the Maldives. I was interested in the Maldives and Sun Island Iceland – focus 5 star hotel in the eye.

But now it was finally time for me to visit this beautiful island.
We flew away from my country. Our flight time was approximately 8 hours. We had a stopover in Sri Lanka and from there we flew another hour to Maldives.

So we had to go by boat to the island. After 2 hours we were finally on our island and our tired from the transport was immediately disappeared when we saw our paradise. So there we would spend 8 days.

In the hotel we went with fresh towels and a drink has been received. Registration at the reception took a bit, but then we went to eat the same lunch. Read more…

Summer Island Village – Maldives

Now that the next holiday is just around the corner (in two weeks we go to Majorca), it is high time that to write a report on the last holiday hotel. This year the holiday was great in the beautiful island world of Maldives.

We opted for the three-star hotel in the North Male Atoll. Three stars are actually somewhat less, but the four-star hotels were too expensive.

The first thing one sees when approaching the hotel, is water, beach, sea and palm trees. That’s how we in paradise. The whole island is beautifully green with palm trees and other plants. It is best to immediately pulls off shoes and goes barefoot on the dock and about half the island to the reception. However, the jetty when walking barefoot isĀ  a lot of small sharp stones.

Arriving at the reception, there is directly a welcome drink and a nice cold towel. A blessing! Our tour guide took care of immediately loved all around us, brought us the usual forms to fill out and then the room key. The holiday began with great. We were then brought together with our luggage to our little bungalow (only a few steps to the water). A safe in the room was not available. However, You could, “rent” a safe at the reception free of charge. Read more…
