Phuket Review
After a brief stopover in Bangkok, Phuket, we went by plane to the island about 867Km away. Phuket is Thailand’s second largest island and is located south of Bangkok in the Indian Ocean.
Phuket has beautiful sandy beaches and bays and a very luxuriant vegetation. Although already very developed for tourism, there was still wonderful beaches.
Bathing is indeed on the beaches of Patong Beach, Karon Beach and Kata – not because of the unpredictable flow Beach be benign, but we have since we’re mostly stayed near the shore noticed no flow.
Patong Beach: Was master at that time already developed. 3km long sandy beach, lots of sports and recreational windsurfing, sailing, snorkelling or just lazing under the sun, watching the other paragliding, indulging in a traditional Thai massage on the beach. There are also many restaurants, German, Italian, and locals.
Then of course there are other beaches that we visited but only by the hour.
Karon, Kata Beach, are both quite long and were still very quiet. Suitable for swimming, snorkeling sailing and relaxing.
Attractions:
Mai Khao Beach:
There is the longest beach in Phuket.
Thai Village:
Folklore is a typical Thai village there is food, a cultural show with dances, Thai boxing and elephant show.
Wat Chalong:
There are the statues of the most revered Buddhist monks “Luang Pho Chaem and Luang Pho Chuang.
Ton Sai Waterfall and Wildlife Park:
A beautiful place where you can relax. The waterfalls give a pleasant cool. In the park you can see wild bears, porcupines, monkeys, lizards and hundreds of birds.

Rewarding day trips:
Who is on Phuket should definitely make a trip to Phangnga Bay. See there are bizarre limestone formations. Caves, mangrove forests and a Muslim stilt village. Which was built into the water.
The area is so impressive that we should let them work without a lot of words to himself.
Phuket was also the conclusion of our trip to Thailand. With the impressions we will never forget, and then we went by plane to Bangkok where we wanted to spend the last two days of leave, as we still had a lot of shopping before.
From day trips to Ko Samet we (beautiful island with snow-white beach,) and Hua Hin, a small seaside resort near Bangkok, I am not going to write anything because I do not think there is much about it. (Perhaps because for us it was just a day trip)
Finally, I would like to give some rules of behavior for a trip to Thailand on their way.
- The word “Farang” will be used to call Western foreigners.
- The “Wai” is the apposition of the hands is not only a welcome but is also a sign of respect. Depending on who you’re dealing with, the hands are sometimes higher and sometimes lower.
- For the Thais, the head is considered the seat of the soul and spirit, so you should not even touch him. Never permit children to stroke the head. If you touch a head once by mistake one should apologize.
- As part of the body are the most unclean feet. In the temple should Irr sit on your feet side to side or mileage. So never show with your feet at someone.
- As a woman you should be careful never to touch a monk, the same goes for the robe. Will you give a woman a monk something, then you have to give only one man or by placing it on the floor.
- Talking loud and exciting, this one should not, one should always remain calm, because the Thais are also.
- ALWAYS take shoes Off before entering temples or private homes.
- The throwing of objects is considered rude. The throwing of rice, which is indeed the livelihood of Thai people as contempt.
- The royal family is highly valued, never speak ill of the king, because that’s illustrated and it could be interpreted as an insult.
So now the report has become longer than I wanted. But I hope that you have persevered to the end anyway, and I could give you some info.
