Sun island Resort and Spa – Guide and Tips Part 2

Sports
The island had a great sports offer. What we do not claim took, because it was already too hot for us anyway, and then sports. No, no … There were tennis, indoor badminton, gym, billiards, darts, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, squash.

Trips
They had two free trips, and although the Sunset Fishing, which then caught the fish is cooked (food paid for, free drinks) and “Hello Neighbors”.
We did not do the two trips. On Hello Neighbours said that you can see the poverty of the locals. Who likes something, ok, but for us it was not so.

Specialty restaurants
Food and drinks at the specialty restaurants are chargeable and not included in the AI. We opted for the cheaper option and stayed with our free breakfast. Ago and the prices do not come cheap, what we have heard so.
As a special treat, there is a 20% discount for table reservations at the table waiter before 14.00 clock (same day).

Beach towels
The beach towels (per person a beach towel) one could get near the pool at any time and exchange.

SPA
The spa area is laid out wonderfully. Unfortunately we have not seen the inside of this, because we had already spent enough money. There was shiatsu massage, Jacuzzi and much more.

Internet Cafe
An Internet cafe is available, but a charge. Once I wanted to enjoy my vacation without a computer, I never went to the internet cafe and can also say unfortunately no prices for it.

Shopping mall
There were several shops, including a gift shop, Photoshop, business electronics, swimwear, perfume and jewelry.

Snorkeling
We have taken our snorkel gear from home. The sea invites so much onto a snorkel. There are some very nice fish and we can make nice photos with a disposable underwater camera.

The best thing is the house reef as you can see there is more. The house reef is in the boat jetty, where a restaurant is.
Unfortunately we have not made a snorkeling trip. I think because we had to get up early to have.

But since you would have seen more safely.
A snorkel gear can be rented at the diving station for a fee.

Fish and other marine animals
The baby sharks liked me best. They are completely harmless and you swim around your feet. Even baby stingrays swim past we have often seen. Also harmless.

Shark feeding
The shark feeding me very well liked. This took place at the Thai restaurant in the evening when the water bungalows.
There were also several stingrays and other fish. The sharks were quite large with a meter. But again, too, enjoyed one who was five feet tall. The sharks can be seen only at this meeting at this point. On a single day we have seen, besides holding the baby sharks.
These sharks are harmless, but nevertheless I would like at this time not necessarily be in the water.

The sharks were fed fish and the place was broadcast with a good light, since it was already dark, and yes we still wanted to see. We could also make good photos. I recommend feeding them very much. The way there and the time of feeding is happy to explain one of the guide.

Diving
This topic is certainly of interest to some of you. I may have to disappoint you but this, unfortunately, because I do not dive for health reasons and this has therefore not been used and unfortunately I have not even asked about it more accurately. I have to admit honestly that I forgot to gather local information about it. It does not help when I come here now copy information from other websites.

Every holiday comes to an end
The holiday was unique and we were very sad that we had to departures. The dream of a white beach, clear turquoise sea became a reality! We, the Maldives and especially Sun Iceland only recommend and we will also look at yet another island. Perhaps there will be a smaller island.

The trip costs about 1,700 dollars per person for 8 days, all inclusive, per person.
